Part 4 - MPPT version 2
I will continue my research the fall of 2018, and attempt to create a 100W mppt module that can work in parallel with other modules for higher power output.
Part 3 - MPPT, algorithm control
I spent my fall of 2017-18 at Rose-Hulman designing a MPPT device. The purpose was meerly to get experience in building a DC-DC circuit, along with digital control logic, to perform maximum power-point tracking. I ran an analysis on 2 different methods
Part 2 - Data Logging, GUIs
I spent the next summer continuing development from the previous project, expanding the research in the pursuit of developing an maximum power point tracking device.
Part 1 - Cutsom Sensors & PCB design
I spent a term at Rose-Hulman Researching how to implement my own solar energy system that logs and records performance data on little solar panels.
Data Mining - US Electricity Grid
I did some introductory level data mining using the python pandas library, with juypter notebook style format.
The study took data on resource production and consumption form many sources and attempted to find value or an interesting story.
My specific research on the project was over cost optimized energy transportation.
